Heatmax is proud to announce that its Fluoropolymer (PTFE) and Metal Over-the-Side heater range has been updated with new features.

The result of 70+ years of metal finishing experience, combined with feedback received from the plating industry, this new product line offers enhanced durability and safety benefits for metal plating processes.

New features for Heatmax’s Metal Plating Heaters include:

Expanded Thermal Protector Options
1. Heatmax has introduced a new category of replaceable thermal protectors, which will allow the heaters to be compatible with other manufacturer controls.

Advanced Terminal Enclosure Design
1. Each metal plating heater includes a new vapor-proof and flame-retardant polypropylene terminal enclosure that has been designed for robust metal finishing environments.

UL/CSA Listing
1. Our Metal Plating Heaters have been awarded UL/CSA Listed certification. UL/CSA is the standard for the safety and quality of electrical.

Short Lead Times
1. The above improvements additionally serve to streamline Heatmax Heater’s already rapid manufacturing process, allowing for lead times as low as (3) weeks for a Metal Over-the Side heater, (2) weeks for a PTFE (Fluoropolymer) heater and (1) week for a control.

These improvements not only serve to make our products more durable, but more importantly make it easier to substitute other manufacturers heaters with a Heatmax Heater. UL certification and equivalent thermal protectors give peace of mind that quality and safety standards are being met.

This serves the metal plating industry by providing more options and therefore competition. Greater competition benefits Platers by giving them the ability to get multiple quotes when faced with a price increase or long lead time.
